Message that you have.. Same .64 a/r exhaust turbine collector and same wheel size.

The compressor wheel is much larger though, so the added lag will only come from the actualy weight/size of the bigger wheel. Which will push a little more psi than the .64 a/r RS.

I am going with the GT2871-1's (.64 a/r exhaust turbine option) which are the smallest of the GT2871 turbos.

I have talked to someone and they said the lag is not "that bad"

lol, who knows how much more lag it will have over the .64 RS's. I am willing to give them a shot. I dont think it will be that MUCH more though. due to the flow of the exhaust gases having to go through the same housing as the RS.

Lag is so subjective though. Some say GT28R are laggy. but if you drive the car. They are quick as hell.

We'll see. Thanks for the responses.

I still would like to keep the jwt400+ cams. I will be using n20 to push my numbers up to the high numbers. I would like to keep the ENGINE as low end as I can with these bigger turbos. As it will be driven on the street.

I dont really want the 500 cam, because I am afraid it will make it ALL top end. (yes I know the turbos will be top end, but I would like to mix the two, even with the loss of some top end power.

Like I said, for the #'s. the n20 will help me out.

Thanks Guys!

NO, This picture is not photoshopped. It took many times to take this picture. Setting up the timer, shutter speed etc, then jumping on my bike and getting the tire to spin.
